School Psychologist Evaluation Rubric

Domain 1: Planning and Preparation (25% of total rubric)
                Competencies:
                *1.1    Appropriate data-based assessments (7%)
                1.2      Proper planning for assessment, conferences and other assigned duties (6%)
                1.3      Technology to enhance data-based decision making (5%)
                *1.4    Reports and assigned duties (7%)

Domain 2: Assessment and Evaluation (25% of total rubric)
                Competencies:
                2.1      Resources, Activities, and Materials (3%)
                2.2      Informative explanations of assessment (9%)
                2.3      Organization of work and student records (3%)
                2.4      Psychological and psycho-educational techniques and procedures (3%)
                *2.5    Psychological and psycho-educational conclusions recommendation (3%)
                *2.6    Psychological reports (4%)

Domain 3: Intervention and support to develop academic, social, and life skills (25% of total rubric)
                Competencies:
                *3.1    Screening and intervention process (3%)
                3.2      Consultation and collaborative services (4%)
                *3.3    Behavior management strategies (4%)
                3.4      Communication and application of research (3%)
                3.5      Professional development (4%)
                3.6      Communication with families (3%)
                3.7      Participation in case conferences and other meetings (4%)

Domain 4: Collaboration and Professional Responsibilities (25% of total rubric)
                Competencies:
                *4.1    Knowledge of state and federal laws (5%)
                4.2      Collegial relationships (4%)
                *4.3    Compliance to policies, procedures, and laws (4%)
                4.4      Continuous professional development of skills and knowledge (4%)
